CROSSING THE FRANCIGENA
Spend one night in a double room with buffet breakfast, for a Great stay in single position.
The historical building of the Hotel More di Cuna sits among stunning scenery and, although it has been totally modernised, it retains the ancient Tuscan tradition of offering the very best of hospitality and food.
Nice hotel, great restaurant, I had a great meal. Friendly, clean I can recommend it, although the location between 2 streets is quite unusual.
Very welcoming bed and breakfast hotel, located inside an old barn dating back to the feudal era of the 12th century, this place is also a stop for those who face the pilgrimage on the Via Francigena. Very strategic place from which you can admire breathtaking views, very welcoming and kind staff. Inside you can have a breakfast choosing from the various foods offered (by filling in a sheet provided by the Hotel). The rooms are equipped with underfloor heating and wall cooling, all managed by the staff. To enter you have a magnetic card that allows access to the various entrance doors (gate for the parking included) and of course to your room. Cozy rooms kept in very good condition and faithfully restored to the original. Definitely a very positive experience also due to its proximity to Siena and the various places of interest. I highly recommend to those who want to take a trip to visit characteristic places in Tuscany.
We slept in this hotel on a stage of the Eroica cycling tour.
The property, a few kilometers off the itinerary, is very well maintained, with well-appointed and extremely clean rooms.
Equipped with a lift and in a quiet area, the reception staff allowed us to store the bicycles in their warehouse for the night.
There is a restaurant next to the hotel which offers good food at normal prices.
Located on Cassia street, in a nice complex, and close to an exceptional restaurant
Really nice hotel. Classic Tuscan style but modernized. The rooms are cozy. Much complain about the noise of the two adjacent streets, but honestly from my room which overlooked a beautiful hill view, I didn’t really hear a thing. Staff very kind. The hotel also offers a Spa, but which I did not use. Private parking and indoor parking for € 5 more. Having a motorcycle, it was really nice. In the same property there is also a restaurant, but here is the only flaw, it is closed on Mondays, and to dine you have to move with your own vehicle. Apart from this, highly recommended.
Excellent structure, well-kept common areas on the ground floor. A careful renovation with a very pleasant result.
spartan room, breakfast (probably due to covid) as well.
The staff at the reception (not present during the night) polite.
Located on the busy street, but the ability to keep the windows closed promotes isolation.
Do not underestimate the fact that on a hot day it is not necessary to turn on the air conditioner.
Definitely to try again
What they liked · Beautiful structure with great attention to detail and interiors. Very professional staff.
Quiet place, very pleasant to see as it is a rustic structure as in my taste. Excellent breakfast with homemade desserts, Tuscan cheeses and salami. Cozy and spotless rooms.
Clean and quiet hotel a stone's throw from Siena and other places to visit
